Bed rack sans Utilitrack

Dephep, I really like the bed rack design you have, but any thoughts on something like that for those of us without the utilitrack system in our beds?

Yea actually I have been thinking of some type of clamp like a topper clamp, or maybe as simple as drilling the bed rail. any thoughts?

Either option sounds worth trying to me. I'm personally not too worried about drilling say 4 holes for security on the outer rail supports (I had to drill to mount my hi-lift mount already anyways). If you come up with an idea, I'll definitely order one and give it a try!
